INFORMATION ABOUT SS 4
retired (12 - Costenaro Giacomo / Bardini Justin): retired after SS 4
flash info (14 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): In the morning it was quite hard, we were struggling with some technical turbo issues then changed some setup that didn't work at all. But now it's like writing, first time you do it wrong then the next few times you know how to do it.
flash info (11 - László Martin / Bán Viktor): The teddy bear on the roll cage is a gift from my girlfriend because he saved my life! Too much oversteering, not an easy stage. Too fast and slow in the corners, but we are here.
flash info (52 - Cruz Enrique / Mujica Yeray): The feeling in the car is good, very happy.
flash info (23 - Lemes Yeray / Peñate Rogelio): Very good. Dramatic morning, damaged suspension. We're still here at the end of it though, temporary fix to get us back to service.
flash info (1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We're struggling with the car, as soon as I want to push I have no front end. There's a real balancing act at the moment, but we're struggling.
flash info (2 - Llarena Efrén / Fernandez Sara): Everything is working well, we are doing our best. We need to keep like this.
flash info (8 - Armstrong Jon / Treacy Eoin): The pedal gets slightly longer [if the brakes overheat], it's all important to be easier on the brakes when you feel length go into the pedal. You have to be gentle with the car on the downhill. We had a good run through though.
flash info (15 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): It's a new stage so trying to discover everything a bit. It's a bit difficult to judge the grip and I struggle to take full advantage of the road, cars and tyres. I am lacking a bit of experience with the tyres and I'm not sure when to push or if they can overheat, so I need to bring it to service and discuss it with Michelin and they will give me some tyres for sure.
flash info (10 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan): It's difficult to manage the tyres in the stage, the grip is changing quite often so it is notn easy to get the feeling throughout the whole stage. The time is OK it is just difficult to get the consistency throughout all the stages. The surface is changing as well which is the main reason for the grip changing and the temperature is important too.
flash info (17 - Lukyanuk Alexey / Kulikov Yuriy): We're building slowly, I feel it is a bit better now. Still I need to be more confident myself, but I think we're moving in the right direction.
flash info (20 - Cachon Alejandro / Rozada Borja): The stage was quite long, lots of types of asphalt, very demanding for the tyres and the brakes. We managed really well, try not to push the tyres, the time is OK.
flash info (9 - Wagner Simon / Winter Gerald): Half of the stage we lost the brakes completely, normally I have no issues with brakes but we have to check.
flash info (21 - Ares Iván / Martínez Javier): Very complicated to have the feeling out there this morning, I'm going to try and do something for the next loop of stages.
flash info (5 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): I have to say the Michelin tyres here work pretty well, I have good confidence with them. I can definitely go faster than expected but I didn't have the confidence. The tyres are working really good and at least now I know for the second loop.
flash info (7 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): It's all okay, we tried to push, not very happy. We need to fix something in the service. This afternoon will be much better.
flash info (3 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): It's a very difficult stage, especially the last section with absolutely no grip. It is difficult to keep the feeling this stage.
flash info (19 - Ruiloba Diego / Vela Ángel Luis): Very difficult stage, I tried to save the tyres in the first stage but it is very difficult. My front tyres are totally destroyed. Not very happy with the first loop but as I said, it's a start.
flash info (16 - Bonato Yoann / Boulloud Benjamin): Everything was okay, but it is very difficult with the tyres. The older asphalt completely destroys the tyres I think. But we are OK for the moment - different to the last one, especially for the grip.
